RE: Overall BPCS performance

BPCS 405 CD  - the Green screen version (non client server version) runs quite well with our AS/400 510.  I do fear the day we have to go client server but it should be a few years off.  We do have over 150 users on our system.  We run with an Ethernet and remote printers.

We were in the same boat when we had a 530.  Some days, we would have over
100 jobs waiting to run to post the orders.  We are at 6.0.2 at January Cum
Plus.  We ended up moving to a 640.  This has resolved the problem to a
point, we still experience slow days when month end is coming.  I believe
IBM makes a 400 that can handle BPCS, it is just BPCS needs to fix their
programs to run efficiently.
