Are you live?: Yes, since July 4th 1998

BPCS Version#: 6.0.2plf March Cumulative Fix tape

BPCS Configuration: Mixed-Mode
# of Users: 110
BPCS Modules: <(ex. CEA, ACP, ACR, ...)>

AS/400 Model: 510-2143 (CPW 81.6)
Memory: 512MB
Disk Space: 46GB

Are you happy with your performance? No, Billing and Shop Floor
programs are very slow. Overall some processes which took 1/2 - 1 hour to
perform in 5.1 now take an enduser 3-4 hours.

Did you fill out an SSA sizing survey? No, we were already on BPCS with
5.1 and had SSA assurances that our box
was big enough.

Are you planning a system upgrade due to a BPCS upgrade? Yes

If yes, to what model AS/400?

We have had an IBM business partner model our performance data and suggest a
620-2181. I am worried though, the CPW of this box is only 210 and this
needs to last at least 3 yrs. We have also filled out an SSA sizing
document and are having SSA/IBM suggest an upgrade model. We have not
received that information yet.
