       Subject: BPCS/ AS/400 Survey

I am interested in what AS/400 everybody is running BPCS 6.x on
currently or will go live on. Could you answer the following informal
survey? It would be helpful to me and probably someone else...
Thanks.

Are you live?: Yes or No
Yes

BPCS Version#: 6.0.2 or 6.0.4
6.0.02 plf Sept

BPCS Configuration: Mixed-Mode or Full Client/Server
Full C/S

# of Users: 1 - ?
30 Concurrent, 60 Total

BPCS Modules: <(ex. CEA, ACP, ACR, ...)>
ACP, ACR, API, BIL, BOM, CAP, CLD, CST, CIM, DRP, ENT, FOR, FXA, INV,
JIT, MLT, MPS, MRP, OLM, ORD, PRF, PRO, PUR, QMS, SAL, SFC, SPM

AS/400 Model: <Model # (ex. 510-2143)>
S20 - 2163

Memory: <in MB>
2GB

Disk Space: <in GB>
75GB

Are you happy with your performance? Yes or No
Yes, average across the board is 1-3 sec. Specific apps may take
longer

Did you fill out an SSA sizing survey? Yes or No or Don't know
Several versions with no answer from SSA. We had an IBM performance
consultant analyze BPCS 6.0.02 full C/S on our old 310 and give us a
recommendation.
We purchased based on his recommendation, SSA later came back with the
same model and processor but 2GB of memory instead of 1GB.

Are you planning a system upgrade due to a BPCS upgrade? Yes or No
Already done. Not cheap to do, but less expensive than trying to
upgrade our old 310.

If yes, to what model AS/400?
