Unfortunatley CIM is not supported on UNIX platforms.  SMG's are the best
way to go for INV500 transactions.  The Inventory Gateway supports almost
all of the transaction effects (except the 'M' transaction).  You could
possibly write a ksh script to do this depending on how fancy you want to
get.
