I read your message on the BPCS-L user group.  I cann't offer any advice
about your specific question but I have a question of my own. 

I'll be upfront and tell you that I represent a company that sells a
data mapping utility that might be handy in your situation.  If you are
interested, please email me back and I will send you promotional info,
answer any questions and even send a demo tape.  We have had a lot of
sucess with new BPCS users.
